In 2026 I am once again offering retreats, workshops and mentoring residencies at the Glasshouse Mountains Retreat Centre, just one hour north of Brisbane.

A five day residential getaway to one of Australia's most inspirational locations, The Glasshouse Mountains. The thirteen volcanic landforms which rise dramatically from the Beerburrum plain were named for their likeness to glass making furnaces in Yorkshire. The indigenous name is Daki Comon, meaning 'stones standing up', and they have great cultural significance for the traditional Gubbi Gubbi and Jiniburra peoples .Three can be seen from the property — Beerwah (the mother), Coonowrin (the son), Tibrogagan (the father).
Spend five days with myself and a small group of writers working on your current writing project. Morning workshops leave afternoons free for writing before we gather in the evenings for readings. A great opportunity to brainstorm, trouble shoot and receive feedback on your work in a supportive and nurturing environment. Walks around the property offer mountain views and bring a sense of calm and focused reflection to your writing project. Coffee drinkers can escape to the nearby Lookout Cafe, Serious walkers can hit the national park fire trails. Fly into Brosbane airport train to Glasshouse Mts Station for pick up.
Monday, July 20, arrive 1 pm, Introductions, orientation, workshop, dinner.
7.30 am: Morning Meditation (optional) in the gonpa (meditation hall)
8-9am: Breakfast (self serve) in the dining room.
9.30 – 11.30am: Morning workshop under the pergola.
11.30 – 1 pm: Free writing time.
1-2pm: Informal self serve lunch, dining room.
2 - 5.00 pm Free writing time.
5 – 6pm : Readings in the living room or gonpa.
7pm: Dinner in dining room. Dates, times, prices, coming soon.
Friday 24, Pack, workshop, final readings, I pm depart. (unless you choose to stay on for some ectra days to write).

Mentoring Getaways
Come for a weekend or longer and work on your MS with Mentoring Support. Ensuite room, self catered. Still working out the logistics, prices etc. Contact me if you are keen.
