Sun 24 April 11am - 2pm. Creating Writing Workshop at Q&A Books.

Sun 4 Dec, 7-8pm,   Meet The Author event with Jan Cornall at The Cafe of Forgotten Dreams  Hotel 1961  Jan will read/perform/ discuss her Indonesian based works ( novel, poetry, short stories) and her new work in progress, Writing on Planes, Boats and Tuk Tuks, a literary travelogue set in SE Asia.

Mon 5 Dec, 6-9 pm,   Creative  Writing Workshop at The Cafe of Forgotten Dreams  Hotel 1961 $10 donation to go to Ponheary Ly Foundation. We will break for snacks and drinks.

Tues 6 Dec,  1pm,  Kids Workshop at Grace House Community Centre.

BATTAMBANG

Tuesday 20th Dec,  Kinyei Cafe, St 1 1/2 Battambang,  free.

11am - 3pm,  The Zen Of  Zine Making

Get some pointers on the Japanese art of haiku (three line poem) and haibun (descriptive haiku like prose)  then learn how to make a simple zine (small hand made book) to put them in. Working with handmade papers,fabric and found materials learn how to use  folding and oriental stitching to create different kinds of zines and mini artist books. No experience necessary - just a creative spirit and desire to play with words and paper.

6- 8pm -  Creative Writing Workshop

8pm onwards - Open Mike  Readings - read or perform a poem, story or song. Jan will start the night with some of her song-poems and MC the evening.
