I just need a little help to get there!

We’ve just launched an Indiegogo crowd funding campaign to raise funds for my airfare, travel insurance, accommodation and expenses. Our target goal is set at $3500. If we raise more we can cover other expenses like printing, shipping and recording the songs and poems for a CD.

As a writing teacher and mentor I know what it is like to help others realise their creative dreams. It is a great privilege to offer guidance and encouragement to the writers and artists I work with and to bask in the glow of their achievements.  But as the saying goes, what the teacher teaches, the teacher needs most of all. It is time to put my other hat on and do a bit of basking of my own. If you can help in any small way I will be most grateful, and I promise you will get a mention in my Oscar speech!

The campaign ends on June 26 and has lots of gifts and rewards on offer: mentoring sessions, signed copies of my books, a creative writing manual, E books, collectors item CDs of Jan’s songs (including Failing In Love Again) and even your own private cabaret performance!
